Surroundings Canada meteorologists were tracking an area of intense thunderstorms which were expected to create robust wind gusts and nickel-to-toonie-length hail.

Two intense thunderstorms have been suggested inside Simcoe Muskoka; the primary excessive thunderstorm turned into located close to Oro and transferred east at a speed of 45 km/h, even as the second one extreme thunderstorm was placed five kilometers southwest of Cookstown and transferred eastward at 35 km/h.
